Day 8 - Ferrara

...and it was worth the wait!!
Day 8 - A lunch stop in Ferrara.
Team Italy enjoyed a meal unanimously voted the best one of the trip!!! The best melon and prosciutto to date and incredible polpetta melanzane (fried eggplant) were starters for the table. That was followed by the local dish (recommended by Monique), tomino with grilled vegetables. Tomino is a small wheel of cheese baked until the outside is crusty and the inside oozes out onto the bread and grilled vegetables. Excellent choice!!
The table next to ours had a great lunch as well.
